WHITE HAT PIANO
Long ago (but not all that long), my love for sound, audio and music was born during my fledgling piano lessons. This was where I received my musical foundation, enabling the creation of White Hat and leading to priceless musical experiences and lessons learned.
Now, I am giving back with lessons of my own. My piano lessons focus on building musical independence, improv, worship music, and composition. Additionally, I seek to get to know my students on a personal and musical level, ensuring I knows their tastes, passions, and struggles.
Most importantly, as a Christian, I seek to wield my giftings for Jesus first. This devotion effects my teaching in two vital ways:

The Lord desires excellence, and is glorified when we present our firstfruits to Him. I rear my students to discover what the absolute best the can do is artistically, and ensure that is what they always present.

Secondly, if desired, I instruct my students how to serve in worship settings of all kinds. My years of band leading on the worship stage has given me valuable insight into ensemble dynamics, song selection, and complementary playing styles
Do not let age be an obstacle to learning an instrument! My teaching experience ranges from 3 years old to 78 years old--no one is too young or too old to begin learning; your challenges and strengths will simply be different.
